It's Goat Week at the Garfield Park Conservatory! This provides an educational experience for conservatory visitors, free food for the goats, and free mowing for the conservatory.
Unfortunately, the goats cannot be permitted to stay overnight.
That means they must be transported to the conservatory every morning, and back home every evening.
The weekend is covered, but during the week, many of our volunteers have to be at work. If you'd like to help us wrangle goats at 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM on weekdays, let us know!
Three or four people is probably ideal, but it's possible to do with two. It only takes about half an hour, and it's fun and real and awesome!
